MAITE FELICES

Maite Felices is a creative consultant. For seventeen years, she has been running her own company, FELICES Agency, an independent communication agency specializing in design, creativity, and brand image. Taking her own surname as a personal badge and statement of intent.

Her work combines the development of communication formulas, content, and strategies that position and relaunch the brand's personality with dissemination and outreach among influencers and experts, an equation that she endorses with her own business vision as an economist (graduated from the prestigious Pompeu Fabra University).

Felices masters communication areas ranging from the most sober and rigorous corporate approach to the most creative and innovative in terms of uniqueness and image quality. Infusing sensitivity and color into corporate gray, intertwining originality and business, is one of her strengths.

Brand architecture, discourse structuring, solid criteria, and a wealth of creativity are her tools for positioning products, companies, and institutions based on her experience in publicity and public relations, as well as high-end communication in lifestyle and design.

FELICES possesses extensive knowledge of the design sector, from the blank page and initial idea to the productive and industrial fabric. She has served on the board of directors of Europe's oldest institution in her field, FAD (Fomento de las Artes y el Diseño), formerly known as ADI-FAD. She positioned the image of Spanish design internationally for a decade with Red (Reunión de Empresas de Diseño) and was a co-founder and creative director of the Design Institute of Spain (D!oS).

She has promoted Spanish companies internationally at markets and fairs in New York, Stockholm, Milan, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Paris. She has provided strategic consultancy to small businesses whose brands and products are recognized by leading influencers, such as Nanimarquina, BD Barcelona, Ondarreta, and La Cartuja de Sevilla. She has also worked on major projects for renowned brands such as Guía Repsol Guide, Fundación Telefónica, Simon Electric, Barceló Viajes, Seat, Ajuntament de Barcelona, ME by Melià, Cotton House Hotel (Marriott), DAAily Platforms (Architonic AG, NZZ - Neue Zürcher Zeitung), Architect@Work, Pantea Group, Visit Portugal, and Thyssen Bornemisza.

Her agency has handled the main events of national and international press headers, such as the Premios Tendències (El Mundo Catalunya), Premios Fuera de Serie and Expansión, T Magazine Awards by The New York Times, and the Frame Magazine anniversary.

Throughout her extensive professional experience, she has developed a unique personal decalogue: let's educate ourselves in uncertainty, learn to listen, cultivate intuition, and trust in our (professional and personal) hunches. Let's build a stock exchange where imagination, the pleasure of things that generate different types of satisfaction, such as humor, well-crafted items, trust in sustainability, and happy sobriety, are listed.
